Who we are: We’re the Dippin' Dots crew, operating as a franchisee of the West Michigan Whitecaps, Class High-A Minor League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The Whitecaps and Dippin Dots are in the FUN business!

Why we want you: You’re an energetic customer service guru with a great attitude who works well with others, is familiar with a point-of-sale system for payments, and enjoys contact with customers. You enjoy travelling throughout the state of Michigan. You work hard and play nice, and appreciate a good joke.

Why you want to work here: It's a flexible schedule with weekly hours ranging from 5 to 40. You'll get paid to travel around Michigan (primarily locations within a few hours of Grand Rapids, but a few opportunities further away). We’ve got an all-hands-on-deck mentality and pitch in when something needs done. We’re also pretty great people to work with.

What you’ll do: You'll setup the Dippin’ Dots Fair trailer at events, work the event, and help cleanup at the end of the event. Duties mainly include customer service at the window, taking orders/payments, scooping Dippin’ Dots ice cream, and helping to maintain a clean concessions area. You'll have a lot of fun doing it.

What you need: Terrific customer service and communication skills and an enthusiasm for customer service. Prior experience with retail transactions and POS machines. You’ll need a willingness to work a lot of nights, holidays and weekends.
