Industrial Diesel Mechanic

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to air brakes, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic equipment. - Repair or replace faulty parts, such as transmissions, using hand tools and power tools.

- Align and adjust engine components to ensure proper operation.

- Conduct inspections of diesel engines to identify potential issues or areas of improvement. - Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to complete complex repairs or projects.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on diesel engines.

Skills:

- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, including knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and transmission.

- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in repairs and maintenance tasks.
