Automotive Journeyman Technician Cadillac/GM certified

Job Summary:
The Automotive Journeyman Technician Cadillac/GM certified is a skilled and experienced individual responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to repairing and maintaining Cadillac and GM vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate must have prior certification from Cadillac or GM and will be highly knowledgeable about automotive systems and components.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $41.4 to $48 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, the candidate will be eligible for a union benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, retirement savings, and employee discounts. Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair services on Cadillac and GM vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Inspect and test vehicle systems to identify potential problems
- Complete service orders accurately and with attention to detail
- Keep abreast of new automotive technologies and techniques through ongoing training and education
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must hold current certification as an Automotive Technician from Cadillac and GM
- Previous experience as a Journeyman Technician in a GM dealership environment required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic and repair tools and equipment
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
