Job Description
Outcomes
- Perform field tillage activities including but not limited to primary tillage, secondary tillage, cultivation, harvest support (dump wagon), and spray and fertilizer applications.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment may include any of the following: Honda ATV, Polaris, 5320/5325 tractors, 6320 tractors, 7210/7410 and similar vehicles or tractors, challenger MT755 and John Deere Sprayer.
- Tasks include mowing, weed control, planting, harvesting, fertilizer and chemical application, irrigation, pruning, drip setup, maintenance, and repairs.
- Operate GPS guidance systems in equipment.
- Communicate field conditions with senior operators or managers.
- Maintain equipment in working order.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Three months of related experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual Spanish/English desirable.
