Dough MixerJob Summary:

As a Dough Mixer you are a kneaded part of the Blazing Bagels team, ensuring that Blazing Bagels can provide that “Oh My Gosh” bagel experience to all our customers and team members. In this role you will primarily be responsible for the production of various doughs used for bagels and breads as well the rising and forming of the doughs to meet Blazing Bagels product specifications and recipes.

Reports To:Dough Room Supervisor Direct Reports:Supervisory Responsibilities: Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cuts, weighs, or measures ingredients according to provided instructions.
• Mixes ingredients in accordance with established recipes.
• Monitors the mixing and rising stages of dough production to ensure product quality.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains dough machinery.
• Shapes/forms products using hands or appropriate equipment.
• Prepares shaped doughs for baking by transferring to racks.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes.
• Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
