Recruiter – Hiring Coordinator

We are currently seeking energetic and motivated candidates for the position of Recruiter and Hiring Coordinator to help us continue our growth. The Recruiter and Hiring Coordinator will work in the Human Resources Department in our Spindale, NC headquarters office. Minimum Experience Requirements

Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience in staffing, recruiting, hiring, sales, marketing, and/or human resources.

Job Description/Expectations

The Recruiter/Hiring Coordinator will report directly to the HR Manager, and will work in support of meeting the company’s growing labor needs by performing the following roles:

  • Development, implementation, and administration of strategies, initiatives, and programs to increase the number and quality of job applicants for all positions
  • Work with our marketing specialist to raise and maintain the company’s overall hiring profile in the marketplace
  • Assist in the development of long-range strategic planning for meeting hiring needs and remaining competitive in the labor market
  • Provide information to the HR team and company management concerning labor market and hiring trends, as well as wage and benefit analysis, and other similar pertinent information
  • Primary responsibility for the initial screening and interviewing of job applicants, including reference checks, and then presenting qualified candidates to the HR team for hiring consideration
  • Coordinate with HR Specialist on the effective and efficient onboarding and orientation of all new hires
  • Management of hiring and onboarding processes, with an emphasis on proactive communication, to ensure a positive applicant experience
  • Effectively promote the company, and represent it in a highly professional manner
  • Management and monitoring of the company’s online applicant database(s)
  • Development and utilization of effective metrics to gauge overall hiring effectiveness
  • Attend job fairs and similar recruiting events

Requisite Proficiencies

  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Adept at networking and utilization of technology and social media platforms
  • Comfortable and effective in addressing groups of potential employees at job fairs, open houses, school presentations, and similar events
  • Perseverance and responsiveness

Additional Requirements and/or Expectations

  • Applicants must possess a High School diploma or GED.
  • Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
  • Applicants must have permanent residence within a 30-mile radius of Spindale, NC.
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, HR, or similar is preferred.
