Summary (What/Why/Coverage)-Main Activities:

Reporting to the Director of Sales US & Canada and VP Sales. Maintaining an internal working relationship across various departments such as marketing, sales, customer service, manufacturing, planning, etc. In addition to internal, external working relationships must be maintained with Customers, End Users, Freight Forwarders, etc. Represent the customer’s requirements within the company and personate the company in daily communication and periodic visits to the customer. This position requires true interest to develop an in-depth understanding of the customer’s needs and the company’s capabilities, interpersonal skills to connect with customers and other departments, and the potential to broaden sales responsibilities including more frequent business trips.

Key Responsibilities (What/How):

  • Responsible for account management of existing and new customers.
  • Responsible for development of sales, gaining market share and improving gross margin in North America.
  • Manage key-customer’s orders and complaints, in order to assure high service levels.
  • Support Global Accounts Director in negotiations, product development and strategy/budget execution and monthly KPI’s.
  • Support, develop and manage North American Sales Team and Customer Service Group.
  • Maintain accurate pricing records.
  • Process and carry customer’s complaints.
  • Gather and analyze historical data to back up negotiations.
  • Arrange sample production and shipment, and follow-up with customer on the qualification process pace.
  • Establish and update monthly sales forecasts based on negotiations and product development status.
  • Develop and implement action plans to drive sales KPI’s.
  • Establish, maintain and improve relationship with customer and identify opportunities to increase its satisfaction levels and new businesses.
  • Establish, maintain and improve relationship among departments to guarantee continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and business sustainability.

Physical Demands:

This position requires minimal lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
