Production Supervisor

HiFyve is hiring a Production Supervisorin the manufacturing industry in Rolla, MO!

Salary: $55,000-$70,000

Shift: Both Day Shift and Night Shift required (8am-8pm and 8pm-8am)

Location: Rolla, MO (Relocation Assistance Offered)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 35+ hourly associates with varying levels of experience and education.
• Develop and coach individuals and the team to solve operational issues and achieve performance goals.
• Manage area-specific production processes and improvement activities, including meeting daily production goals and executing planned improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and housekeeping policies.
• Recommend and implement major process or procedure changes to improve production.
• Monitor the production process and take corrective measures as needed.
• Train workers to adequately perform assigned tasks and ensure equipment safety.
• Encourage and aid in the development of employees.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership and change management skills
• Proven Continuous Improvement experience (CI)
• Firm understanding of safety regulations including OSHA, SARA, and HAZWOPER
• Ability to complete written and verbal reports legibly and accurately
• Experience in the packaging and /or pulp and paper industry is preferred
• Experience with automation is preferred
