Description:

The Feed Mill Driver is responsible for the loading, delivery, and unloading of bulk feed from our Brownstown feed mill to our swine barns and facilities in a safe and efficient manner. This position will cover the Premier West and East territory.


Responsibilities:

  • Pickup and delivery of bulk feed, verify loads for accuracy and deliver them as instructed by mill operator
  • Responsible for the maintenance and clean appearance of all assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Responsible for assisting in keeping the load out area clean
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed
  • Assisting in and around the branch/mill location as needed
  • Maintain timely, accurate records on delivery and logbooks
  • Always maintain safety standards
  • Maintain daily communications with his/her supervisor
  • Look for opportunities to increase efficiency safely
  • Operate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSR
  • Comply with FSMA regulations on feed deliveries
  • Willingness to learn mill operations
