Job Description
Join our team at Bud Clary Auto Group in Moses Lake where we are looking for a dynamic individual to coordinate sales and schedule needed service work in our service department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Schedule service appointments and gather customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously, obtaining vehicle information and accurately documenting vehicle problems on repair orders.
- Conduct test drives with customers as needed to confirm vehicle issues or refer to test technicians.
- Recommend additional needed service based on vehicle inspection and service history.
- Advise customers on car care and the importance of maintaining vehicles according to manufacturers' specifications.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts, establishing promised time and obtaining necessary authorization.
- Coordinate with dispatchers on incoming work and monitor repair progress throughout the day.
- Update service department forms, menus, and pricing guides regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Explain completed work and charges to customers, implementing quality control measures to minimize comebacks.
- Inspect vehicles for body work needs, inform customers, and provide estimates for body work as necessary.
MARGINAL DUTIES:
- Collaborate as a team player in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and performing other duties as assigned.

PAY RANGE: This position offers a commission-based compensation structure with the potential to earn up to $120,000.
