JOB SUMMARY
This internship is designed for a raising Junior or Senior college accounting student. The Intern will need to know and understand general accepted accounting principles and performs day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for BGCMT. This is a part-time position (25 hours per week).

JOB SUMMARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for BGCMT
- Assist with A/P, A/R and month-end closing
- Work with state and federal grants, reporting monthly expenditures, preparing monthly reimbursements
- Assist in the payroll process
- Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
- As with every position at BGCMT, every person in the organization will assist their colleagues to ensure a cooperative environment and respond to the needs of the moment. This job description will be reviewed periodically as duties and responsibilities change with business necessity
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Understand general accepted accounting principles is required
- Have or be working toward a degree in finance/accounting or business administration at a Junior or Senior level is required
- Excellent skills in organization, communication and attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Billing.com, Tallie and credit card payment systems
