Direct Support Professional - Afternoons, Overnights

Stepping Out by Options Residential is looking for Direct Support Professionals for our Hastings, MN location! At Stepping Out, we serve adults diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome in a group home setting. We have a part-time weekday afternoon / overnight positions available!

No Direct Support Professional experience necessary!

PART TIME/FULLTIME/WEEKEND HOURS
Wage: $17.00 / hr base rate. $11.00/hr asleep overnight rate (paid 10pm-5am when sleeping)
On-going comprehensive paid training and 24/7 support

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Willingness to do personal cares (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting) with clients
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid US driver’s license and willingness to drive residents to appointments
• Basic computer skills

Biweekly

Direct Support Professional duties vary from program to program, but may include:
Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
Use the company vehicle or own vehicle to take individuals to community activities or appointments (Mileage is paid for use of own vehicle)
Cooking, assistance with feeding
DSP will administer medication
