Job Description

All of our Sales Advisors deliver world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment, operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, wide format printing equipment, and point-of-sale devices. Sales Advisors will be trained in all services in order to personalize packing, shipping, printing, and mailbox solutions for our customers. 

The ideal candidate has previous customer-facing retail sales experience, strong computer and typing skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, is self-motivated, is reliable, is able to lift 40 pounds, and has a professional appearance. They must be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail in order to maintain accuracy, and work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1) Delivering outstanding customer service to walk-in customers, telephone inquiries, and email inquiries
2) Continuously practicing good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
3) Taking action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
4) Operating all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and willing to teach others
5) Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
6) Empathizing and managing demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience
7) Taking ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offering viable solutions
8) Frequently multitasking and maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality control
