We are currently seeking a compassionate individual to fill the role of Activity Director at our retirement community. The Activity Director plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing a variety of engaging activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate a diverse calendar of activities to meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of our residents.
• Lead group activities such as exercise classes, arts and crafts, games, musical events, and outings.
• Work one-on-one with residents to assess their interests and tailor activities to meet their individual preferences.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a well-rounded program of activities that promote a sense of community and belonging.
• Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback to continuously improve the program.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in activity planning or senior care preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for enriching the lives of seniors through meaningful activities.
• Flexibility and creativity in developing engaging and stimulating programs.
