Banquet Cook Full Time & Part Time

Located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh, in the heart of the South Hills, St. Clair Country Club is searching for a motivated, reliable, and passionate Banquet Cook. Our Team is committed to providing expectations of excellence in the highest quality dining, social, entertainment and recreational experiences to its 870 members and their families and guests. St. Clair Country Club offers multiple private dining and reception areas including the Ballroom that seats up to 240 people, the Crossroads Room which seats up to 100 people, the Alibi Room which seats up to 50 people and the Library that seats up to 30 people.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications:

• Associates degree in Culinary Arts and/or equivalent professional experience
• Serve Safe certified preferred
• Attention to detail and passion for cooking
• Team player

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares all food from menu using standard recipes in accordance with club standards
• Follows established food presentation techniques and standards to ensure consistency
• Monitors quality of product and presentation
• Assists on ala carte line when needed
• Ensures that work area and equipment are clean, organized and sanitary
• Identifies product needs and requisitions items needed to prepare menu
• Maintains safety in work area according to local and state standards
• Assists with other duties as instructed by the Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef and the Executive Chef
