Salary: $18 + .50 shift differential

Premier Tool is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their quality assurance team in their machine shop.  Their main duties include being responsible for inspecting parts using approved inspection techniques.  This is an invitation to collaborate and apply your craft in a creative, conscious and characterful culture. Shift is as follows:
2nd Shift: Monday thru Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2 am (4 Day Work Week!!!!  Friday, Saturday and Sunday off!) plus a $0.50 shift differential.


Essential Functions:

  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Receiving inspection.
  • First piece inspection.
  • In-process inspections.
  • Last piece inspection.
  • Final audit inspection.
  • Dock audits.
  • Part layout inspection.( PPAP, ISIR, APQP )
  • Paint and engrave templates.
  • Use statistical process controls.
  • Assist in calibration functions.
  • Participation in corrective actions.

Skills:

  • Basic math.
  • Ability to use a computer in Word and Excel.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to use calipers, protractor, micrometer, specialized gaging and CMM after training.

Attributes:

  • Ability to grasp training agendas quickly and retain knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate and be a team member.
  • Reliability concerning attendance and punctuality.
  • Multilimb Coordination and manual dexterity allowing lifting capabilities up to fifty pounds.
  • Capable of walking three miles per shift.
  • Support of the Safety Policy in day to day activities.
  • Knowledge of appropriate ISO policies and procedures

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificate)
