Job Description
Were looking for an experienced Journeyman CNC machinist to come join our team in Livermore, CA. Were a small, tight-knit shop where everyone is hands-on in multiple aspects of the company. Your initial primary responsibility will be to operate our CNC mills (3 axis and 5 axis). Depending upon experience, responsibilities may expand to include lathe machining, programming, EDM machining, and other areas.

- 15+ years experience operating a CNC mill (experience operating a lathe is a plus)
- Comfortable setting up and operating a CNC mill without supervision
- Able to keep multiple machines running
- Able to calculate feeds and speeds
- Able to understand G code
- Some understanding of programming
- Understanding of different types of materials, their grades and relative machinability
- Able to read and understand shop drawings
- Able to lift 25+lbs, push heavy carts or crates, and can stretch, reach, kneel, or crawl as may be required by certain tasks
- Monitor machinery in order to identify necessary maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
