Meat Wrapper

We are seeking a Meat Processor to join our team. As a Processor, you will play a crucial role in the production and processing of custom and retail . This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to pleasing cutomers and farmers within our business.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and process food products according to established procedures and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with USDA, ODA, OSHA, and company rules and regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Package, and label products accurately and efficiently
- Operate machinery and equipment related to meat processing
- Adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines for safe food handling
- Monitor quality control measures to ensure product consistency and adherence to standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Follow standard operating procedures for efficient workflow and productivity

- Stock general supplies

- Record keeping

- Identify cuts of meat

- Dishes, Cleaning, Organizing tools and products

Experience:
- Previous experience in food production or processing is preferred BUT not required - will train candidates
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques is a plus

Requirements:

- Must be able to lift/carry at least 50 pounds

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

- Must know basic units of measurment/metric system

- Must be able to start work at 5 A.M.

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise cutting, packaging, and labeling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
