SunPlus is looking for a Jr. Security Analyst for CU In Clemson, SC.
- This is for 12 months with possible extension
- Hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hrs per week
- Pay rate: $32 W2 hourly (NO C2C/3rd party candidates)
**This position is 100% onsite
**It usually takes the government 2-3 weeks to start interviewing
SCOPE OF PROJECT:
MEDICAID SECURITY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND PAYMENT PROCESSING SYSTEMS.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- VULNERABILITY SCANNING AND COORDINATE REMEDIATION WITH RESPONSIBLE TEAMS
- DEPLOY AND MANAGE EDR
- REVIEW FIREWALL REQUESTS
- RESEARCH AND ASSESS NEWLY RELEASED VULNERABILITIES
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel
- Working knowledge of web applications
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL
- Strong understanding of networking
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience performing searching in SIEM
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Experience with NIST 800-53
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School
