Telecommunication Tower Foreman

NUWAVE Communications is a general contractor specializing in construction and equipment installation on communication towers and other wireless structures. Established in 2010, NUWAVE is young company with the proactive solutions needed to be competitive in the wireless infrastructure industry.

We are looking for a tower foreman with a career desire to progress to Construction Manager at some point in their career. They must have a pro-active attitude and be willing to learn new carriers, equipment and processes.

You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a foreman and be able to demonstrate a proven track record as a leader. You must be up for a challenge and a team player.

Experience

• Effectively troubleshoot maintenance alarms.
• Preferably possess certification in NWSA TTT - I.
• Demonstrate expertise in OTDR/Sweep/PIM Testing.
• Experience in DC power and wiring.
• Capture site photos before and after tasks.
• Adhere to industry standards such as OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements at sites and with the crew.
• Supervise daily operations and uphold work quality at designated sites.
• Manage essential daily paperwork for both the site and the crew.
• Execute instructions provided by leadership.
• Compile documentation specific to each site's closeout.
• Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
• Have an exceptional eye for detail.
• Coordinate activities related to the site with customer representatives.
• Foster a positive working relationship with customer representatives.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to crew members.
• Regularly maintain the operational condition of equipment and vehicles.
• Verify daily timesheets for management.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
• Fulfill any other assigned duties.

Qualifications and skills

• Problem solver
• Hands on with the team
• Can demonstrate construction skills – rigging, testing, COP etc
• Good IT and organizational skills, MS office proficient
• Document understanding., Can read CD’s, RFDS, SOW’s etc
• Good physical condition. Able to climb towers, able to lift 50lbs
• Capable of working long shifts which could be up to and beyond 12 hours on occasion
• Able to work in al weather conditions
• Trained in but not limited to - climbing, rescue, RF, CPR, rigging, arial lift, NWSA
• A full drivers license and driving record that matches company policy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
