Service Technician

The Service Technician is responsible for meeting the dairy customer’s needs in the proper troubleshooting, servicing and repairing of dairy equipment.

· Individual contributor with no direct reports

· Decides technical interventions and solutions as appropriate

· Decision on escalation or seeking external technical support as needed

· Authorized to make sales of additional products or services where appropriate.

· Diagnose, service and/or repair dairy equipment effectively and efficiently

· Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

· Advise customers on the proper use, operation and maintenance of dairy equipment

· Required product knowledge and training to ensure:

§ Customer satisfaction and ability to promote the sales of products and services

§ Ability to service brands of dairy equipment

· Accurate, complete and courteous service to customers and problem solving with equipment

· Inventory management and preparation of invoices for services performed or products sold

· Seek opportunities to appropriately and responsible, sell services where it would add value to the customer and expand the footprint in the customer relationship

· High school diploma required

· Basic to intermediate math skills

· Ability to read an instruction document and follow service / troubleshooting instructions\Good communication skills
