Job Title:

Full Charge Bookkeeper

Salary:

$70,000 to $80,000 annually

Summary:

The role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization by accurately recording and reporting financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice generation, payment processing, and reconciliation.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.

Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions, such as payroll, expenses, and revenue.

Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data and analysis.

Prepare and file various tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure security of financial records.

Managing 401K plan.

impact informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations that may impact the organization.

Work closing with accounting firm, owner, and VP.

Supervise payroll department of three.

Responsible for weekly payroll report to PEO.

Responsible for wage deductions/garnishments and coordination with PEO and notification to employee(s) as required by law.

Responsible for weekly reports, internal reports, funding cycle and auditing weekly funding schedules for accuracy.

Responsible for weekly billing discrepancies and corrections, including, but not limited to pay adjustments for employees, credit memos, and pay adjustments from pervious pay periods.

Maintain ADP account.

Open and close payroll periods in database and maintain payroll records in compliance with company policy.

Understanding of GAAP principles

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
