Job Title: Structural Steel Fitter Welder

Role:

The Fitter’s primary role is to ensure all materials being used are accurate and in compliance with customer specifications and quality control programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure all materials being used are accurate and in compliance
with customer specifications and quality control programs.

2. Operate necessary equipment to complete work requirements.

3. Proficient at reading blueprints.

4. Set up welders and other shop operations.

5. Build fixtures and other aids for shop productivity.

6. Follow all company policies and procedures for safety.

7. Train other shop employees to be more proficient.

8. Maintain shop floor organization and cleanliness.

9. Any other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements {Skills, Knowledge, & Experience}

Skills Required:

• Blueprint reading, equipment operation, welding, and burning.

Experience:

• 2- 5 years structural and miscellaneous fabrication.

Education:

• AWS D1.1 Certification

Job/Placement Details:

Shift: First/Day
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Overtime Policy: Paid over 40-Hours Worked in a week, Sunday through Saturday, at Time and a Half.
Overtime Schedule: 3:30PM to 2:00AM, as required and Directed

Note: Will Start on the First Shift to get Acclimated, but Must Transfer to the Second Shift if/when hired In-house.

Wage: $25.82 Per Hour
