Warehouse Associate

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Picker/Packer, Assembly, Stock Room associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, assembling products according to specifications, and maintaining organized stock rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Picking and Packing:

   • Retrieve items from shelves or bins based on order sheets or picking lists.
   • Ensure accuracy in selecting the correct items and quantities.
   • Pack orders securely and neatly to prevent damage during shipment.
   • Prepare shipping labels and arrange packages for shipment through designated carriers.

2. Assembly:

   • Follow assembly instructions to build products or components.
   • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
   • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
   • Collaborate with team members to streamline assembly processes and improve efficiency.

3. Stock Room Management:

   • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
   • Organize received inventory in designated storage areas.
   • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
   • Conduct regular stock checks to identify discrepancies and prevent stockouts.
   • Replenish picking locations as needed to ensure availability of items for order fulfillment.

4. General Responsibilities:

   • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
   • Keep work areas clean and organized.
   • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding any issues or concerns.
   • Assist in other warehouse tasks or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with picking and packing processes and basic assembly techniques.
• Ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
