Role overview:
The Recruiter locates, assigns and retains qualified personnel for assignment to specific clients. Directly supports the activities of field operations and maximizes the industry group opportunities for placing individuals on national, regional, and/or local assignments. Maintains and monitors recruiting database and related candidate profile information. Current focus will be direct hire requests!
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or a minimum of three years of agency recruiting experience with preference for exposure to social networking recruitment.
- Highly developed and demonstrated customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills and ability to ensure confidentiality.
- Basic sales skills, including effective negotiation and closing techniques, with preference for sales and/or telemarketing experience.
- Continual attention to detail, organization, and time in managing work processes, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an environment of constant change.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Ability to interface with multiple levels of leadership and management.
- Must be proficient with a variety of computer applications, such as Microsoft
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance when evaluating the competencies of and placing candidates.
- Monitor open job orders and fill requirements.
- Recruit active and passive candidates using standard recruitment methods, including the following: cold calling into companies where known talent resides, personal candidate network, job fairs, internal resume database, internet resume banks, the general internet, and social networking (including LinkedIn and similar professional network sites).
- Interview, evaluate, extend offer to, assimilate, counsel, and terminate contingent and direct hire personnel.
- Discuss and negotiate compensation and benefit packages with candidates and/or clients.
- Market positions to candidates and submit qualified candidates to clients.
- Document, monitor, and maintain database to ensure that current and pertinent information is available to anyone who would require it such as sales, operations, or other corporate operating groups.
- Meet or exceed targeted quantitative and qualitative metrics and business objectives.
- Work successfully in a close team environment as commitment to teamwork and to reach goals is critical to business success.
- Support and maintain client relationships and activities which may include full cycle of employee-related transactions.
- Develop and maintain a positive, professional relationship with personnel in order to establish a respected reputation within the industry.
- Collect, coordinate and communicate current industry and market information including potential sales leads, current rates, accessible labor pools, and competitor information on a timely basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
