Testing Engineer 1

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• “Hands On” boat testing required.
• Work on product design in a concurrent engineering environment under direction of Testing Engineering Manager
• Follow test procedures and equipment set up details.
• Testing of components and systems as well as assisting R & D technicians in the testing of components and systems
• Communicate with suppliers on component test results.
• Communicate with various departments on a global scale.
• Communicate testing requirements to outside laboratories when necessary.
• Write formal test reports in a timely manner and communicate to engineering team.
• Prepare and present test data and results in formal meeting setting.

Minimum Educational and Work Qualifications•

• 4-year Degree in Engineering
• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and principles
• Minimum of 1 – 3 Years marine engineering experience is preferred
• “Hands On” testing experience is preferred
• Ability to learn the use of laboratory and field-testing equipment
• Personal computer experience (Word, Excel, Scheduling, PowerPoint)
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent written skills with the ability to communication test data and results in formal report format to multiple companies
• Must be able to work within a team environment
• Project management and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects.
