1st Shift - Additional OT of 10 - 20 hours

$27 to $38 (Depending on Experience)

We're seeking a CNC Machinist for a leading precision components manufacturer that services aerospace, defense and medical industries. You'll play a vital role in performing daily set ups, and operating of CNC machines, either on the Lathes or Mills side. They have Okuma, Nakamura, Moriseki lathes machines, and 3, 4, 5 axis mill machines.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Machinist.
  • Proficient in setting up and operating CNC lathes or mills multiple times a week.
    • Setup of tools, fixtures, work holdings and running first piece
  • Experience with Okuma, Nakaumura, Moriseki lathes machines or 3, 4, 5 axis mill machines.
  • Experience with bar stock and alloys such as titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Comfortable working atleast 10 hours of OT.

Pluses:

  • CAM Programming
  • Experience working in a high mix/low volume, aerospace, defense or precision component manufacturer.
  • Working with tight tolereance of one thousandth of an inch (0.001)

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate the CNC lathes or mill machines.
  • Occasionally troubleshoot the CAM software.
  • Working independently.
  • They use titanium, stainless steel and aluminum as their raw materials.
  • Tolerances are extremely tight, at one thousandths of an inch.
