Our company is growing and looking to add a Financial Operations Manager. The Financial Operations Manager is a key leadership support role responsible for managing and presenting financial data to facilitate management activities within the organization. They play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, assisting with operational efficiency, and supporting overall business objectives. The Financial Operations Manager facilitates a team to effectively manage financial resources, optimize financial processes, and contribute to the organization's success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly work-in-progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with organizational accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices in relation to the financial activities of
the organization
- Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business operations.
- Lead and mentor administrative support personnel, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment to achieve organizational goals.
- Assist in establishing performance objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing ongoing feedback.
- Identify training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives.

Requirements:A success candidate for Financial Operations Manager will have the following:
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; will accept a combination of education and experience.
Experience: Proven experience in financial management and operations management, with a track record of success in a supervisory role. Experience in a construction environment preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis techniques.
- Experience in financial management, process improvement, and project management.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling tools).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
