Dental Office Manager for management, and Dentist for clinical
FT
$60/hr (or salary equivalent) with $10/encounter bonus.

FLSA Status:
This position does meet the criteria for exemption from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act;
thus you will not be eligible to receive overtime compensation.
JOB SUMMARY:
Registered Dental Hygienist will perform oral prophylaxis procedures under the supervision of the
dentist(s).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oral Screenings
• Soft tissue exams/oral cancer screenings
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• SRP procedures
• Prophy cleanings
• Local anesthesia - only when dentist is in the office
• Document carefully, accurately and completely all patient encounter s in the EHR
• X-ray/digital imaging as requested by dentist
• Sealants and polishing
• Follow infection control protocol, and OSHA standards
• Demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills necessary to consistently receive
and greet visitors, patients, and staff members, in a professional manner
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education and/or Experience: RDH license. Prefer at least 3 years experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, complete short correspondence, and memos. Ability
to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the
organization.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical skills necessary for job performance, and other skills as
needed.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form.
• Interpersonal skills: It is very important that the RDH have good people skills and be able to deal with patients in a
kind, compassionate, manner. The RDH should be able to deal with unhappy patients or difficult situations, and
always be professional and courteous.
PREREQUISITES:
RDH license
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CPR certification
