SUMMARY
The responsibilities of the RAP Attendant include supervising the self-checkouts, assisting customer in processing orders, including cashiering and loss prevention. The RAP Attendant also responds to complaints with genuine concern.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
- Learns and uses the GUEST program

- Maintains customer satisfaction by providing solutions to concerns
- Assists in performing product scanning and processing of customer's orders in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner.
- Ensures proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons.
- Performs fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
- Directs customer traffic.
- Assists with any pricing issue.
- Assists with stocking merchandise around the checkout area
- Assists with register maintenance, cleaning and replenishing supplies
- Follows all store and department policies and procedures.
- Follows safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
