Low Voltage Instructor - Now Hiring

Inspire the next generation of electricians! Lincoln Tech in Columbia, MD is seeking licensed and experienced Fire Alarm Technicians, Security Alarm Technicians, and Low Voltage Electricians to share their passion for the industry and teach in our Electrical and Electronics Systems and Technology program. No teaching experience? Don't worry, Lincoln Tech has successfully transitioned experienced electricians with limited or no teaching experience into successful educators.

 

Key Qualifications

3+ years' experience in any of the following:

• Fire Alarm Technician
• Security Alarm Technician / CCTV and Surveillance Tech
• Access Controls / PLC's
• Telecommunication and Fiber Optics
• Home Theatre and Audio/Visual

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in Electrical and Electronics Systems in our fully equipped facility.
• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum.
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability,
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students.
• Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance.

• Great communication skills
• Proficient with technology
• Teaching experience a plus
• High school diploma/GED
