What’s a typical day as an Operations Supervisor? You’ll be:
• Maintaining a productive, efficient, quality-oriented, and safe work atmosphere during assigned shifts.
• Enforcing compliance with policies and procedures to ensure desired results and a safe working environment.
• Troubleshooting and evaluating molding processes to maintain prescribed quality and production standards.
• Investigating root causes of process shifts and taking corrective action.
• Monitoring and evaluating daily production to exceed customer expectations.
• Managing production floor responsibilities, including mold set-ups, manpower utilization, and material efficiencies.
• Directing real-time and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Training and developing shift personnel.
• Coordinating with maintenance staff for repairs and maintenance beyond the skill level of the shift team.
• Communicating with tooling team for repair and maintenance schedules.
• Providing timely information to other supervisors, managers, and departments.
• Submitting reports and documentation as required.
• Ensuring accurate cycle/set-up sheets and road maps are maintained at each machine.
• Ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
• Distributing work assignments and prioritizing them for subordinates.
• Completing performance reviews and providing counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Creating a productive and proactive work environment.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have three to five years of processing injection molding experience.
• Have three to five years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Have thorough knowledge of safety specifications and procedures.
• Have an understanding of quality standards and systems, including Statistical Process Control.
