Billingual Insurance Verifier/Scheduler - Part-time

Job description:

-Working at the imaging center where you will be doing a lot of phone work and assisting patients as they come in for appointment.

-Looking to ensure that members/patients are experiencing the best service to ensure their needs are met with appointments and follow-up. In person, polite and professional and accommodating.

-You will be expected to have a high level of proficiency with patient demographics.

-The employee will be required to be courtesy and professional with all patients and coworkers.

-Verification of benefits electronically or using insurance websites for imaging exams.

-Able to quote imaging exam prices accurately and provide tax ID and CPT codes.

-Scheduling appointments for Ultrasound, MR and CT.

-Answering very heavy phone volume.

Qualifications:

- experience in scheduling and insurance verification.

- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing with patients and staff.

- Bilingual in English and in Spanish.

- High School or Equivalent
