Healthcare Billing Representative

looking for empathetic individual who is passionate about helping to join their growing team!

Description:

A billing representative assists with the overall operations of the organization's billing department. Billing representatives post payments timely on the database, update account statements, release invoices, reconcile accounts and resolve account discrepancies. A candidate should have computer skills, database, website navigation and working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word and excel. Working with numbers, being detailed and accurate, documentation and multitasking skills are a must, as well as good problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The candidate will need to be able to work in a team environment as well as individually. It is important for the candidate to have the ability to research, and problem solve. The member base consists of retirees, so it is very important to have a positive attitude, be patient and understanding and have strong communication and phone skills.

MUST HAVES:

1+ years over the phone customer service experience and excellent communication skills both with phone calls and through email.

Knowledge of Medicare & Part D plans.

Basic computer skills for database & website navigation, word and excel.

1+ years of experience working with numbers. IE banking, low level payroll, high attention to detail
