School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Mattawa, WA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within the school district.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
• Interpret assessment data to identify students' strengths and areas of need, and develop appropriate interventions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
• Consult with school staff on effective classroom management strategies and positive behavior support techniques.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, develop intervention plans, and make recommendations for educational placement.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
