Operating Room- Registered Nurse

A Medical Center in Newton, KS is currently seeking to add a full-time Registered Nurse to join their team full time!Check out the details below:

Title: Registered Nurse.
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Operating Room
Location: Newton, KS.
Schedule: Full-Time, Days
Pay: Competitive pay, full benefits, and up to 55% shift differentials.

The Registered Nurse duties to include but not be limited to:

-Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, considering the patient's age, mental status, ethnicity, and physical condition.
-Administers medications, including IVs in a safe manner and according to the five rights of medication administration
-Maintains an accurate and thorough medical record for all assigned patients.
-Demonstrates a willingness to work additional shifts or float to other units as needed to maintain safe levels of staffing for all patients in the medical center.

REQUIREMENTS:
-ADN or BSN or Graduate from a foreign RN pre-licensure education program.
-Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas. Compact license is acceptable.
-Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support.
-Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support - Preferred
