Job Title: Analytical Laboratory Technician
Job Duration: 12 Months
Job Location: Charles City, IA.
Shift: Monday – Friday. 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Job Description:
Responsabilities:
  • Daily testing of samples received from production.
  • Timely completion of test to meet the established testing time.
  • Following GMP documentation guidelines.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and demonstrate trouble shooting ability.
  • Contribute to the teams productivity goals.
  • The candidate should have the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Testing of samples from manufacturing to ensure Quality and compliance according to all applicable assays utilizing good aseptic practices.
  • Maintaining testing schedules and reagent supply.
  • Completion of documentation following cGMP guidelines.
  • Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, instrumentation and facility.
  • Understanding of the QC software packages used during routine work.
  • Understanding of how to use pipettes.
  • Preparation of media and reagents.
  • Understanding of dilution schemes.
  • Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds.

Required Education & Professional Experience:
  • BA/BS in Science related field or AA plus one year experience preferred (but open to High School Diploma along with experience with gathering data and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.)
