Staff Accountant (Reconciliations)

The Reconciliations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial records by reconciling various accounts, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues in a timely manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations of financial transactions, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.

- Identify and investigate discrepancies or variances between financial records and ensure timely resolution.

- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address reconciliation issues and collaborate on solutions.

- Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation processes and results for auditing purposes.

- Assist in the development and implementation of reconciliation procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, or potential risks.

- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

- Previous experience in reconciliations or accounting roles preferred.

- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
