About this job
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Full Cycle Bookkeeper to join our team. As a crucial member of our finance department, you will play a key role in managing the financial transactions and records of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full cycle accounting duties, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations, including sales tax and payroll tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and work closely with external auditors as needed.
- Provide support to the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Cycle Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
