VacoMemphis is looking to hire a Radiology Technologist for a Medical Facility in the Memphis area. The Radiology Technologist will work with other members of the team to provide patient services and is expected to participate in the appropriate team activities with the objective of providing a high standard of patient and clinical service.
The Radiology Technologist's main role is to operate the C-Arm during Vascular procedures and assist physicians in procedures.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. These requirements are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and ability required of the position. Responsibilities:
- Appropriately operate and demonstrate proper alignment of the C-Arm for vascular procedures
- Ensure proper patient positioning
- Moves imaging equipment into specified position, determines exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of body involved, and degree of penetration required, and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy
Qualifications:
This position requires an Associate of Applied Science inRadiologicTechnology, American Registry ofRadiologicTechnologists (AART) Certification, and One (1) to three (3) years of related experience.
