Summary:
Vaco Staffing is excited to recruit for a Pricing & Profitability Manager role on behalf of a highly respected Aerospace and Defense organization. This position is based in the Greater Santa Clarita area, CA, and requires the candidate to be local to the area or willing to relocate within a reasonable timeframe.
Job Overview:
  • We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strategic approach to pricing and profitability management, backed by robust experience across diverse industries.
  • The ideal candidate will be a pivotal part of our client's team, driving pricing strategies that align with overarching business goals and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute innovative pricing strategies to enhance market competitiveness and business growth.
  • Lead a team of 4-6 Pricing Analysts and Estimators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, staying abreast of trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes.
  • Analyze cost data and selling price trends to establish competitive pricing while ensuring profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with government pricing regulations and maintain transparency in disclosures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in Pricing, estimating, or finance, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic acumen.
  • Soft skills such as excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, tech, or medical fields is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with defense/aerospace industry pricing dynamics is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive Base Salary: $150,000 annually, with potential for additional earnings up to 20%.
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Program based on company and individual performance.

  • Flexible working arrangements, including 9-hour workdays and every other Friday off.
