A public company in the Valley is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, accruals, and maintaining the general ledger. What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with month-end close
- Analyze and review the GL
- Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintain fixed assets and general ledger
- Analyze trends for cost centers
- Assist with cash management
- File sales and use tax returns and assist with international tax
- Assist with AP
- Maintain internal controls
- Create supporting schedules for financial statements and footnote disclosures
