Salesforce Software Engineer

Symetra has a superb opportunity to join our team as a Salesforce Software Engineer!

Symetra's Enterprise CRM team is looking to hire a full time Salesforce Software Engineer. You will work with the delivery team to help build, maintain, and deliver technology forward solutions used by Symetra's internal customers. Working as an individual contributor, you will be encouraged to partner with others in estimating development efforts based on high level requirements as well as all aspects of delivery.

• Take part in agile events to refine, estimate and deliver application features.
• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
• Collaborate with various team members on Salesforce feature design, development, and testing.
• Participate in or conduct design reviews
• Adapt to a dynamic work environment and bring your creativity to the team
• Test the stability and functionality of the application.
• Solve and fix bugs.
• Detail your solutions and share your technical knowledge.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.

Salary Range: $91,200 - $151,900 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.

• Deep understanding of Lightning Web Components
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with web application development, including JavaScript, CSS, or HTML5
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, data loader, and declarative platform tools. (Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder, etc.)
• Experience with API integrations
• Understanding of design patterns and principles
• Experience with CI/CD deployments, such as Azure DevOps
• Effective use of collaborative and efficiency platforms, such as Microsoft Teams
• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools such as Gearset
• Cloud development experience
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
