TGC Search is partnered with one of our top clients in Racine, WI looking to add their next Business Development & Sales Manager to the team in a direct hire/full-time position.
As a pivotal member of the Sales and Business Development team, where you'll play a vital role in fostering organic growth and nurturing lasting relationships with customers across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Join us as a pivotal member of our Sales and Business Development team, where you'll play a vital role in fostering organic growth and nurturing lasting relationships with customers across various industries. Your focus will be on CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, tool & die, and metal punch/stamping services.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Meeting business and sales targets by effectively managing both new and existing customer accounts.
- Identifying and pursuing potential clients in diverse industries requiring precision machining and manufacturing services.
- Tailoring pitches to suit regional, corporate, and national accounts of varying sizes.
- Generating leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other methods.
- Demonstrating a deep understanding of our services and products, emphasizing their benefits to clients.
- Conducting thorough research on client needs and industry trends to position our services effectively.
- Arranging and conducting meetings, presentations, and site visits with potential clients.
- Developing customized proposals, quotes, and estimates to showcase the value of our services.
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize revenue and align with strategic goals.
- Providing outstanding customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Collecting and communicating customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Tracking and analyzing key account metrics to measure performance.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales or key account management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or contract manufacturing.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong mechanical engineering understanding and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant sales tools.
- Self-motivation, results orientation, and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
- A positive attitude, resilience, and strong work ethic.
- Team player mentality and ability to collaborate across business units.
- High ethical standards and honesty.
- Excellent organization and follow-through abilities.
