Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job ID: 10048 Job Location: Camden, Arkansas - On-Site Job Schedule: Day shift, 7 days on 7 days off, 4am-4pm Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. They will work under limited supervision and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions. Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities and production equipment, as well as perform general maintenance. Must understand and be able to work on all Production and Facility equipment. This position will be located in Camden, Arkansas. Essential Functions: General. Production machinery upkeep/ repair/ maintenance, general welding, Electrical Maintenance, Repair HVAC equipment millwright activities or carpentry. Install new equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, electro-mechanical and mechanical work. Perform boiler maintenance: Troubleshoot, monitor and repair boilers. General shop upkeep, cleaning, and/or organizing. Required Qualifications: Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. This position requires a boiler certificate/license within a year of start date. Freon recovery license within two (2) years of employment. Considerable knowledge and understanding of service and installation processes of industrial equipment. Valid state issued Driver's License. Qualification for respirator and breathing air devices and work on fire/rescue teams. Continued education in a maintenance discipline and cross training into other disciplines within the department will be required as needed. Must be available to work any shift, weekends, holidays and be on call as required. Must be very safety and environmentally conscious. Desirable Qualifications: Training from a trade school or college is a plus. Strong experience/ training in one of the following: Mechanical, HVAC, Boiler, and/or Electrical. State License in any of these fields is a plus.
