Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Title Clerk to join the administration team of Jack CDJR in Saco, Maine. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for preparing customer documents, resolving title discrepancies, and facilitating document transfers. You should be detail oriented, stay up-to-date on applicable laws and regulations, and be able to assist customers and answer any title-related inquiries.
Compensation & Benefits

Responsibilities
• Prepare and organize paperwork for customers to transfer car titles properly
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness
• Resolve discrepancies with customers, lien holders, one state agencies, and other third parties
• Ensure that titles are accurate and legible in accordance with state regulations
• Answer customer inquiries regarding titles, registration, and other paperwork-related matters
• Update files regularly and keep track of documents filed
• Assist with other administrative duties, as needed
Requirements
• High school degree
• 2+ years of experience in a Title Clerk role
• Working knowledge of title and registration regulations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and other related computer software
