Main tasks :

The Director of Market Development is in charge of :

  • Customer relationship and customer satisfaction
  • Has the direct management of the field technical team to drive Pandrol’s growth initiatives
  • Promote and manage new product launches to advance Pandrol’s market position
  • Deploy the PANDROL sales policy to deliver ATW targets.
  • Responsible of the application of the sales process in his perimeter (Offer to Cash)
  • Define and follow up the sales budget and CRM management.
  • Collaboration with Pandrol Sales Team and Site Leaders.
  • Responsible for driving a robust and rapid response program to customer inquiries and claims.
  • Responsible to driving the ATW lab.

Description of significant activities :

  • The Director of Market Development has to manage the customer relationship by identifying the needs and proposing solutions.
  • He has to develop and implement strategy to maintain existing customers.
  • He has to develop and implement strategies to increase market share and engage new customers.
  • He is in charge of the promotion of the full product range of ATW and EQC including new products.
  • He does commercial and technical offers to customers, and he is responsible of offers done by sales team.
  • He proposes the yearly budget and manage its deployment and the monthly follow up.
  • He puts in place corrective actions to be able to reach the targets.
  • He manages the monthly report to the management.
  • He manages directly the field technical team and the lab team.
  • He is the technical interface between his market and the Globa Product Lines.
  • He is one of the main interlocutors of the local welding association (if it exists)
