As a Parent Coach, you're not just a guide; you're a lifeline. You'll be:
- Crafting Success Stories: Through records review, intake assessments, and personalized parent skills training, you'll lay the groundwork for lasting change.

Who You Are
- A holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field.
- Experienced for five+ years in making a difference in the lives of at-risk parents and children.
- A problem-solver, communicator, and organizer extraordinaire.

- Proficient in Simple Practice and other relevant systems, ready to hit the ground running.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field of study AND Five years’ experience working with parents and children at risk of experiencing child abuse.
Responsibilities:
- Records Review: Review client’s records and plans to determine appropriate services and reach out to leadership when questions arise.
- Intake Assessment: Complete one intensive individual intake assessment with each adult involved to tailor the training curriculum.
Parent Skills Training:
- Work collaboratively with clients to celebrate their success and ensure transition support.
- Coordination of Care: Provide services with clients and other providers, teaching parents effective communication, and active listening skills.
- Report according to Program Outcome Measures as dictated in ODHS contract and follow proper reporting requirements for ODHS.
- Attend Coordination of Care Meetings and support clients in advocating for themselves and their children.
- Attend all Team Meetings as needed and maintain calendar and write a report in Simple Practice.
- Be proficient in all other systems with The Hero Makers and respond timely to email/text and phone communication.
- Substitute when needed for other clients and follow the Parent Coach code of ethics in all interactions with clients and families.
- Conflict Resolution: Reach out to leadership to work through a solution in case of conflict with a client.
- Be a champion of The Hero Makers organization and culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: From $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
