Job Summary

The role of the Clinical Supervisor is to supervise, coach, and provide guidance to ARHMS practitioners and to ensure compliance with DHS requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to ARHMS practitioners
  • Meet with ARHMS practitioners for individual supervision as needed and accurately document supervisions per DHS guidelines
  • Provide field support and coverage
  • Assist with New Hire training
  • Conduct annual evaluations of ARHMS practitioners and provide feedback
  • Attend Clinical Meetings
  • Provide reports as needed
  • Assist with planning and facilitating of the monthly group supervision
  • Maintain Accurate and timely documentation for all mental health services provided
  • Assist with Diagnostic Assessment and updates as necessary
  • Ensure Diagnostic Assessments, Functional Assessments, LOCUS, WHODAS, progress notes, and other necessary documents are completed in a timely manner and according to DHS guidelines
  • Ensure that all documentations are signed off by you, the Clinical Supervisor, and by the ARMHS

Practitioner in a timely manner


  • Compete the required CEUs per DHS requirement
  • Meet with the Clinical Director/Operations Director as needed
  • Communicate effectively, efficiently, and respectfully via phone, email, in-person, and other agency workers regarding client cancellations, rescheduling, or safety concerns
  • Maintain appropriate professional behavior and boundaries via phone, email, in-person, and/or text with Credent Care staff, practitioners, vendors, clients, interpreters, and other agency workers
  • Complete projects as assigned




Qualifications Education:


  • Master’s degree in psychology or a closely related field in an accredited program;
  • Licensure to practice in Minnesota as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or
  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Board-certified clinical supervisor


Required Experience:


  • Must have at least 2 years experience providing individual, family, and group therapy post-masters level graduation and at least 1 year of clinical supervision experience
  • Knowledge of community resources and how to access them
  • Experience with third-party billing and electronic health record system is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and to make decisions under pressure
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Must have access to a reliable car and possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license and insurance
  • Training and experience in evidence-based practice model is desirable
  • At least 2 years of work providing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining all clinical documentation
  • Knowledge of resources related to trauma, sexual violence, domestic violence, sexual exploitation, and trafficking and how to access them
