Front Desk/Referral Coordinator (F/T) - Sylvania, GA

Optim Health - Screven is seeking a full time Front Desk/Referral Coordinator for our Sylvania, GA location.

Job Requirements:

Primary Duties: Check-in Duties:

• Greets patients

• Fills out and copies new patient information

• Copies insurance cards

• Correctly prepares charts and puts into bins for medical assistants

• Collects co-pays

• Checks referral numbers

• Processes payments via credit card machine when necessary

• Works late when necessary

• Accepts x-rays and medical records for prospective new patients

• Makes appointments

• Enters insurance and demographics when necessary

• Miscellaneous other duties as necessary

• Maintains strictest confidentiality

Checkout Duties:

• Greets patients

• Schedules follow-up appointments

• Prepares school/work excuses when necessary

• Collects co-pays and balances due on accounts

• Enters insurance and demographics

• Prepares ticket tracking report and verifies all patient tickets are accounted for

• Processes credit card transactions when necessary

• Balances cash drawer

• Copies tickets/miscellaneous paperwork for patients

• Closes out each provider at end of clinic

• Works late as needed

• Miscellaneous other duties as necessary

Performance Requirements - Two (2) years’ experience preferred
